Those are two separate things. The photo and Videos uses DLNA while the other is an actual Plex app. Try downloading and installing the actual Plex app from the LG store. Than login into your Synology and open de Media Server Preferences. Go to DMA Compatibility > Device List. Search your TV on the list and change the Profile that follows it.
